Your tasks:
After an induction phase, the focus of your activities will be on the following tasks:
- Independent support and further development of procurement for mechanical components/parts
- Conducting market analyses and identifying supply potentials
- Negotiation of prices, conditions and contracts with national and international suppliers
- Ensuring material availability and optimizing inventory levels
- Close cooperation with production and other departments to ensure an efficient supply chain
- Identification and implementation of cost reduction potentials and continuous improvement of purchasing processes
- Risk management and ensuring quality and delivery adherence of suppliers
- Support in the introduction of new products
- Responsibility for budget planning and monitoring in the area of mechanical components
Your qualification:
- Completed higher technical education (university/technical college) or completed business studies with technical qualifications (HTL/apprenticeship)
- At least 2-3 years of experience in purchasing mechanical components, preferably in the electronics industry or semiconductor industry
- Very good English and MS Office skills
- Confident demeanor and very good communication skills as well as negotiation skills
